Pet & Health Data

Documents

• Files you upload (PDFs, images) such as vet invoices, vaccination certificates, prescriptions, and insurance policies

• Insurance policy details (provider, plan type, deductible, coverage limits)

• Log data, IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited

• Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL) — your data is encrypted at rest and in transit
• File Storage: Supabase Storage — documents and photos are stored in isolated, access-controlled buckets
• Application Hosting: Vercel — globally distributed edge network with TLS encryption

We implement row-level security (RLS) on all database tables, ensuring users can only access their own data. We use industry-standard TLS/HTTPS for all data transmission.

No system is 100% secure. While we take strong measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control.

6. Family Sharing

If you use the Family Plan and invite family members, invited members can view your pets' health records, documents, and add records on your behalf. Family members cannot see your account details, payment information, or insurance data. When your Family plan ends, shared access is automatically revoked.

7. Cookies

PawIQ uses cookies and similar technologies for:

• Authentication: Secure session cookies to keep you logged in
• Preferences: Remembering your settings and filters
• Analytics: Aggregated usage data to improve the product

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling authentication cookies will prevent you from staying logged in.

8. Your Rights
